Rescue Me ID: 14-11-15-00405Lyla (female)

Devon Rex    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I am in the devastating position of having to rehome my beautiful baby girl, Lyla, as she is no longer okay around young children and I have recently had a baby boy. Lyla has been my companion for over 10 years and I love her to pieces but have to seek a new and better home for her. She is completely fine with adults but is scared and stressed around young children and can swipe if they come near her. She is a very talkative girl and absolutely loves cuddles. She has food allergies but her diet is straight forward and not expensive (will be discussed with any interested parties). Lyla needs a human(s) who is willing to spend time with her ... (Read More)and give her the love she deserves. She is truly a wonderful and loving Devon and would ideally suit a retired individual/couple or a family with older children (late teens), but would not suit a home with other pets. Lyla has only ever been an indoor cat and apart from her food allergies she has no other health issues, is microchipped and her vaccinations have been kept up to date. I am not seeking any fee, just the right 'forever' home with someone who has the love and patience to help her settle in and keep her happy and safe. (Less)
